Evaluating Real vs. Fake News In-Person
It is important that students and scholars learn to differentiate between real and fake news in their day-to-day and academic lives. With various resources and fact-checkers available online, it is easy to be overwhelmed or unsure about what information is true. This online workshop aims to equip participants with tools to recognize, avoid and combat misinformation, including fake news, false news, media bias and confirmation bias.
A WebEx link will be emailed to everyone who registers for the event. If you do not receive the email, please contact Beth Downey.
