Tips for Presenting Scientific Images with Integrity In-Person
Did you know that 67% of the Office of Research Integrity’s research misconduct cases involved image manipulation?!? Undocumented image manipulations can lead to accusations of research misconduct. Images should clearly and correctly represent research results. Minor image processing may be acceptable but there is a fine line between enhancing an image and distorting it. This seminar will provide tips, guidelines, common mistakes, and examples to help you understand what is appropriate in image processing and what is not.
