The AI-Ready Researcher: Responsible Use of Generative AI in Kinesiology In-Person
Generative AI is rapidly reshaping the way kinesiology researchers read literature, analyze data, design studies, and communicate findings—but responsible, ethical use is essential. The AI-Ready Researcher equips faculty and graduate students with practical strategies for integrating generative AI into kinesiology research workflows, from brainstorming and drafting to coding, study design, and dissemination. Participants will explore real examples in a hands-on lab setting, discuss ethical considerations including bias, transparency, authorship, and data privacy, and leave with actionable approaches for using AI tools thoughtfully and effectively in their scholarly work.
