Drawing Attention to Your Scholarship: Open Access Publishing and MSU's Institutional Repository In-Person
Learn how and why scholars benefit both from publishing in open access (OA) journals and from depositing their research, data, and creative works in their institution's digital repository. Workshop leaders will discuss how to identify reputable OA journals and why you should preserve your scholarship in MSU's Institutional Repository, If you are unfamiliar with ORCID, we will describe how an ORCID protects your scholarly identity and why funders and publishers often require this identifier in grant proposals and manuscript submissions.
