Introduction to Scalar In-Person
Scalar is a free, open source authoring platform for writing article- and book-length digital scholarship. With Scalar, users can incorporate multimedia, data visualizations, and interactive elements, as well as collaborate with other authors. Attendees will 1) be introduced to some scholarly applications of Scalar, 2) create Scalar accounts, and 3) explore its functions hands-on. Experience with web authoring tools is helpful but not required.
